#9 Amelia’s Wild Ride couldn’t get up for glory, but ran a good 2nd at 7/1 in the 9th at Laurel yesterday. The 2$ 10/9 exacta paid $76 and the 10 was the second choice on the board, so everyone should have made a nice little score. No major tracks are running today, but that’s why Cornfather makes the big bucks. He’ll scrape through the past performances from every track across this great country to find the people a stone-cold winner.

#3 Lady Molly (4/1) – This mare has been steadily improving during her 5-year-old season and a good ran 2nd against tougher last race. She drops in class today and most importantly will be up close in a field completely devoid of pace. She should be able to trot along on, or just off the lead and scamper away down the stretch. We should get every bit of the 4/1 morning line and the Cornfather can’t wait to head to the windows.
