Wednesday’s Recap

What a wonderful time of year October is.  All major sports are running and the action is nonstop.  This is what the Cornfather needs pumping through his veins.  We were one or two breaks away from having a monster Wednesday night, but a small step in the right direction is never a bad thing.  And to think we get football back tonight, beautiful. Here is a detailed view of wednesday recap for horse racing.

Wednesday recap for Horse Racing

MLB (1-0)

Car Payment Play: New York M/L +102The Yankees are single handedly keeping the Cornfather afloat.

NBA (4-3)

Lunch Money Plays:

Milwaukee @ Boston Over 204.5

Detroit -3 vs Charlotte

Sacramento +7.5 vs Houston

Minnesota +2 @ San Antonio

Utah -2.5 vs Denver

Portland @ Phoenix Over 218

Car Payment Play: Boston -3 vs Milwaukee – This is the game we needed.  Boston couldn’t extend their lead in the first half and a young scrappy Milwaukee team took it from them.  The Cornfather wanted this game bad.

Horse Racing (1: 0-1-0)

Pony of the day: #1 White Gold – 2nd at 8/5. The Cornfather thought she was over bet down to 8/5 from her 9/2 morning line.  She couldn’t quite get the lead from the start and tried hard down the stretch, but couldn’t get by the leader.  2nds don’t pay the bills, but the 2$ exacta still paid $29 with only a 7/2 winner, so hopefully some of you farmers collected.
