Monday’s Pony of the Day: Race 8 at Parx

In the wake of Breeder’s Cup weekend, most handicapper’s will take some time off to collect themselves.  That’s the difference between them and the Cornfather.  He’s handing out a stone-cold winner at Parx to start your week off right.  What a generous man.

Parx Race 8: 6 Furlongs. OC 25000n2x

#7 Irish Colonel (3/1) – The Cornfather thinks we’ll get at least 3/1 on this gelding.  The #2, #5, and #8 will all take money in here.  Irish Colonel tracked a slow pace last time, but still closed strongly to finish a solid 2nd.  There will be a quicker pace to run at today and the Cornfather thinks Irish’s best distance is the 6 furlongs he has today.  This gelding always runs his race and he Cornfather can’t wait to see the big fella rumble down the stretch.  Let’s Get It.
