A full slate of NBA action tonight and the Cornfather likes when he has plenty of options. He’ll make sure to play and odd number of games so we don’t split.
Lunch Money Plays:
New York -4 vs Utah – Porzingis and this young Knicks team are thriving without Melo. The Garden has been buzzing lately and Utah is a terrible road team. The Cornfather sees the Knicks by 7.
Milwaukee -4 vs Detroit – The Pistons are one of the hottest teams in the NBA, but they’ve also played 5 straight home games. They finally go on the road tonight and take on a reloaded Milwaukee team that the Cornfather already told you was about to go on a run.
Cleveland -1.5 @ Charlotte – If this game was on local TV then the Cornfather would take the Hornets. However, this one’s on primetime ESPN and Lebron will dominate for the cameras.
New Orleans -3.5 vs Toronto – Toronto had a big win in Houston last night and the Cornfather will play against them on a back to back. The Raptors have been the only team to beat the Pelicans in their last five, which will also give New Orleans an extra bit of intensity.
San Antonio +5 @ Minnesota – The Spurs have been playing well and this is a high number for a still inconsistent Timberwolves team. Yes, San Antonio is on a back to back, but the Cornfather looked at his card and saw all favorites. Scary stuff. He has to throw in at least one dog.
