Wednesday’s NCAAB Plays

There aren’t many top 25 games tonight in college basketball, but there still is a large card with money out there for the taking.  That’s really all the Cornfather asks for.

Lunch Money Plays

Temple -4.5 vs Wisconsin – Wisconsin stinks at basketball this year.  Other than center Ethan Happ, they have no playmakers and they are going to be in for a long year.  It will take a little longer for others to come around because they’ve been so good in recent years, but the Corfather isn’t one to hesitate. Temple is a solid team that is always tough on their home floor and they’ll cover tonight.

Middle Tennessee State @ Vanderbilt Over 139 – Middle Tennessee loves to run and gun and shoot the three and Vandy should have no problem scoring in their own gym.  This one easily gets into the 70’s and the Cornfather will hit another over.

Alabama -3 vs Rhode Island – Both teams are very good and the Cornfather expects them to make the tournament this year.  Avery Johnson has gotten some dudes that can play and they’re starting to build something in Tuscaloosa.  The Cornfather thinks the Tide will grind out a close game at home.

Washington +22 vs Kansas – This is essentially a home game for the Jayhawks, but at least they’re not in Rupp Arena.  Kansas hasn’t played many tough opponents yet and Washington has a descent team that’s improving.  22 is a ton o points and the Cornfather will take all of them.
