Wednesday’s Sports Recap

NBA (2-2-1)

Wednesday’s NBA Plays

Lunch Money Plays:

New York -2 vs Memphis

Sacramento +12.5 @ Cleveland

Detroit +4 @ Milwaukee

Miami +7.5 @ San Antonio

Charlotte +5.5 vs Golden State

Well that was a waste of time.  If the Cornfather wanted to break even he would have sat on his hands last night like the rest of the schlubs who don’t put their money where their mouth is.  Charlotte and Miami both were hanging around the number, but the superior teams beat them down late.  Whatever, onto the next one.

NCAAB (2-2)

Wednesday’s NCAAB Plays

Temple -4.5 vs Wisconsin

Middle Tennessee State @ Vanderbilt Over 139

Alabama -3 vs Rhode Island

Washington +22 vs Kansas

Another split to make the Cornfather pull his hair out.  The ½ point loss by Temple was all the Cornfather needed for a positive night.  Obviously, the big story in college basketball last night was the 22-point underdog Huskies beating Kansas by 9 outright.  The Cornfather was on the right side, but that moneyline would have been something special.  It just goes to show that you need to be weary of teams this early in the season.  The Cornfather teaches us valuable lessons every day.

Horse Racing (0-1)

Wednesday’s Pony of the Day: Race 7 at Aqueduct

Pony of the Day #3 Sicilia Mike – Finished 6th at 15/1 in race 7 at Aqueduct yesterday.  He just wasn’t very good, no excuses from the Cornfather.

All in all, Wednesday was a ho hum day the Cornfather hates, he will certainly up the ante tonight.
