Friday’s NBA Plays

The Cornfather loves the card tonight and ESPN will have back-to-back high-quality games like we deserve.  There is no better feeling then when the Cornfather tells me both his locks for the night are the National TV games.  I can go out on a Friday night and live large knowing my bank account will be quadrupled in the morning.

Detroit +5.5 vs Golden State – The Pistons have dropped four in a row, but all their losses were close games on the road against good teams.  Returning to their home court where they are 8-2 on the year, they are desperate for a win. The Warriors are still without Steph and likely Draymond, so there is no way they should be favored by this many on the road.  Yes, they’ve taken care of business despite the injuries, but they haven’t faced a team nearly as good as Detroit yet.  Don’t be afraid to toss some lunch money on Detroit +190 money-line too.  You know the Cornfather will.

Boston +2.5 @ San Antonio – The Spurs continue to over achieve without Kawhi Leonard and grind out victories.  Pop has done a masterful job leading this group, but the Cornfather is betting this game on talent.  Boston will have a much better team on the floor tonight and they shouldn’t be getting any points.  The only reason the Spurs are favored is because they’re on their home floor and the Cornfather isn’t buying it.  Kyrie and the Celtics will be too much for the Spurs to overcome tonight.
