Wednesday’s NBA Picks

The Cornfather went 3-0 yesterday in the NBA and he looks to take advantage of the nice full card today.  The Cornfather will attack almost all the games tonight with the lack of quality college basketball tonight.  Let’s Eat.

Lunch Money Plays

Indiana +1 vs Oklahoma City – The Pacers are very tough to beat at home and the Cornfather hates the Thunder with a burning passion.  He keeps thinking they’re about to click and then they stink like they have all season.  At a certain point, you must admit when your pieces don’t fit and the Cornfather will never back them as road favorites again this year.

Orlando -1.5 vs LA Clippers – The Magic are banged up, but in essentially a pickem game, the Cornfather will back the home team.  The Clippers are absolutely terrible on the road and the Cornfather has a feeling in his right knee they are going to lay an egg tonight.

Miami -2.5 vs Portland – Miami is very consistent and always seem to play their game.  Portland is reeling right now and the Cornfather doesn’t see the Heat letting them up for air.

Milwaukee +2.5 @ New Orleans – Anthony Davis is listed as questionable and that’s all the Cornfather needs to know.  The Bucks can beat almost any team in the league on a given night and if New Orleans isn’t ready to play the Bucks will mop the floor with them.

Phoenix +11.5 vs Toronto – The Raptors are obviously a much better team than Phoenix, but they are only mediocre on the road.  You don’t win in the long run betting 11.5 point average road favorites.  That’s a fact.

Car Payment Play

Boston -6 vs Denver – Kyrie is listed as probable and if he plays the Celtics are a cinch.  After their first bad loss of the season, the C’s will return home and stomp out the Nuggets. Boston is better at every position than Denver without Jokic.
